PAINTING A HAZE OUTLINE IN NEW YORK

About a week ago I received some really cool sketches of my name by New York’s HAZE.

Hyped on the classic flow, I made it a point to paint the Haze’s Rime sketch while out in NYC…

Being that it was done in an alley right under the Manhattan bridge, I felt the style fit well with the environment…

Many thanks to Klughaus Gallery for setting up the wall.

Essential Elements With Haze

Last month Revok, Risky & I were fortunate enough to get down on a wall with Haze aka SE3 RTW. This was the first time Haze has come out to paint since 1997 and I must admit that he hasn’t lost his touch!

For ths wall we decided to have some fun layering up with a variety of different handstyles and names. We tried to build it up from light tones at first to dark canceling out as much negative space as possible.

We avoided using white or black in this process so that out throw ups would pop off more when placed on top…
